Art of Austin is a community accessible platform that connects creatives.
There are several art organizations in Austin that provide event listings and comprehensive weekly newsletters concerning the arts (we love you Art Alliance Austin & Art Austin!)
We are here to serve a slightly different purpose however. We are seeking to provide a connective element to the Austin art scene. We seek area artists to join us as a way to reach a broader audience and introduce yourself to some seriously talented individuals here in our great city. We encourage you to interact with our branding, hashtag your artwork with #artofaustin on Instagram or Twitter to be featured in our feeds. In summary, we seek to be a community accessible platform that connects creatives – the full spectrum from elders of experience with vast bodies of work to young & vibrant come ups. Like minded individuals that want to share in the creative experience together.
Our calendar and map will be updated with whomever wants inclusion – we try to stay current but there is just so much going on – we need your help. If you have an event or venue that you would like listed on our calendar/map, please feel free to contact us and we will add it. That is exactly what we are about.
